WIN lunch for two in new Maldon restaurant Dante's
Dante’s opened at the King’s Head Centre on Maldon High Street in September, the owners Mario and Charlotte naming the restaurant after their son. The couple is passionate about offering fresh, seasonal dishes on their menu which will change monthly. Whilst primarily a fish and seafood restaurant, meat lovers can pre-order a steak and vegetarians and vegans will also be catered for.
The majority of the produce is locally sourced, including salmon smoked by Lambton & Jackson in Chigborough, coffee from Artisan roasters Mac&Me in Writtle and Maldon Oysters.
Mario has been a restaurateur for 13 years, including running one of London’s best fish restaurants. He and Charlotte love this area and moved to Maldon to have their baby. Mario has always wanted to open his own restaurant and what better place for a fish restaurant than this coastal town?
Dante’s is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
